Complaints about Dogs Off Leash

There have been two recent complaints about people walking dogs in La Paz without having the dogs on a leash.  There is a Santa Fe County law that requires all dogs to be on a leash when they are in public spaces.  It is a safety concern for the dog and any people that may may come into contact with that dog.  Here is a key section from the Santa Fe County ordinance:

"Animals off their property must be physically restrained on a leash no longer than eight (8) feet in length and under the immediate effective physical control".
